Any Computer can be repaired. BOS has University education, Microsoft training and 25 years of hands on experience in computer and network repair. Even in the event of a catastrophic failure it is likely that we can get your computer back online with your data intact.

Onsite Service: As our name implies, BOS provides the convenience of onsite repair service. Even though there are some disadvantages for the client, sometimes onsite service is the best option. This is particularly true with networking issues and when our client has difficulty with travel.

Virus, Malware and Spyware Removal: BOS is ready to do battle with any of the nefarious denizens of the internet at any time. For us this is one of the great delights, to protect the innocent from the evil designs of the black hats on the internet.

The Nuclear Option, Wipe and re-install: For many technicians the best option to get rid of the Bad Guys is the Nuclear Option, wipe and re-install. We think that this is a disservice to the client as they may lose their data and then have to re-install all of their software. This approach appears to be more related to the knowledge and experience of the technician (or lack of it) than it is to reality. To date there are no bad guys that we have not been able to defeat and only three times (out of several hundred) in the last five years have we resorted to the "Nuclear Option".

Crashed Computer: When your computer won't even start because of corrupted Operating System files or hard drive failure, it can appear to be the ultimate computer catastrophe. Even in these situations our experience and knowledge make it likely that we can not only recover the Operating System, we save your data and make it appear as if nothing bad had happened to your computer.

Slow Computer: There is much that can be done to improve performance of nearly any computer. From; removing truncated items in the registry, optimization of startup options to removing some of the crapware, hidden and extraneous software, most any computers' performance be improved dramatically.  Once the foregoing is carefully implemented, the computer generally runs BETTER THAN NEW and "Nuclear Option" is seen as unnecessary.

Upgrading Your Computer: Sometimes upgrading your hardware or software is the best way to improve speed and performance. BOS can move your Operating System to a new (faster and larger) hard drive, increase you memory or install a faster processor. We may even be able to clone your old system into a complete new computer.

Computer Cloning or Kissing a Frog: BOS has developed a clone procedure wherein we move your fully setup and configured Operating System (this includes ALL of your configured software, licenses and data) onto a new computer. Because of the dramatic differences in hardware there are some limitations to this procedure. Even so we have had 100% success with moving a clients Operating System from computers as disparate as an 800 MHz Intel Pentium III computer to a new AMD Phenom Quad Core machine.

Kissing a Frog can save you the cost and trouble of buying a new license for Windows, re-configuring your customizations and preferences, re-installing and re-licensing all of your applications and moving all of your important files. It is a near magical experience to have your old computer suddenly have all of the speed and function of a new computer.
